Featuring Live Puppet Performance for mature audiences, Puppet Making, Libations, live music and a special presentation of Vol 3 of Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams!!!!

Only 10 dollars- come out and support local art and see a great presentation of amazing Short puppet film from around the world.

Puppet Uprising at the House of the Future

Ian Ashley’s House of the Future and the San Diego Visual Artists Guild presents PUPPET UPRISING an extraordinary evening of Puppetry, Music, Fashion, Performance, and Art. Featuring special performances by Animal Cracker Conspiracy and the Adult Puppet Cabaret, Couture by Osbaldo Ahumada, Fine Art by Mary Fleener, Lynn Dewart, Jim Hornung, and Lester Corral, and Installations by The Ancient Gallery www.ancientgallery.org, Ovid Pope, and Steve”Scones”Kozyk. We also feature firedancers, stilt walkers, a Puppet Making Station, Live music by Tim Moran with more bands and DJs to be announced. Puppet Uprising includes great food and a cash bar. (21 and up only.)  There will be lots of art for sale and interactive adventures to enjoy. Attire: Thematic or artsy cocktail. $30 admission before event (on-line ticket deadline 12:00 noon, October 21st.) $35 admission at the door.

Ian Ashley, with the gracious assistance of her husband Brian Judelson, open the “The House of the Future” year after year to the delight of the thousands who have attended their exquisite Art Parties. They work tirelessly on behalf of many organizations, charities, artists and performers, bringing our community the best of the best in entertainment and creativity. Proceeds of this special event will go to help restore “The House of the Future” and benefit Animal Cracker Conspiracy and the artists of the San Diego Visual Artists Guild.
