Desire to Fly
A timeless tale of innovation, longing, and imagination, Desire to Fly is a shadow puppet show inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s “flying machines” and man’s eternal quest for flight. In the distant future a Robot, fresh off the assembly line, finds himself wandering through a garden, where he unexpectedly becomes fascinated by butterflies. From this inspiration he attempts to build his own set of wings. His journey of experimental flight travels beyond the unexpected.

Circus Precarious
Long, long ago, circus trains used to bring troupes of performers, clowns, and exotic animals to every corner of the country. This is a story with life size puppets about just such a traveling circus, though not without a twist. Watch and help the animals save their show and discover how friendship is the true path to fame and fortune.
Stage requirements: minimum 12’ x 20’ for performance, Running Time: 45 minutes, suitable for ages 5-10.
The Noble Deer
Inspired by the Jataka Tales of India, this parable-adventure takes place in a forest where a “Noble” Deer runs wild and free. When a local King hears of this magical deer he sets out to have it for his very own. An unforeseen event challenges the King’s motivation and a choice must be made. This is a tale that questions possession, friendship, and compassion.

A Fast paced and fun Shadow puppet show ACC’s spin on classic fairy tales and children’s literature featuring three feisty goats and a rather dim-witted troll- perfect for birthday parties, and other child-focused events.

The Dragon’s Child (in Development)
An adventure tale from Ancient China performed with hand and rod puppets in a traditional puppet theatre booth. Every thousand years the Dragon lays an egg which when hatched will become another dragon. A greedy sorcerer seeks the egg to steal the secret of immortality. Just before his annual hibernation the Dragon learns of this plot and hides his child with a kind old couple. A kidnapped the dragon’s child, does the sorcerer.
