An adventure where the sky is the limit! Circus Hilarious is a modern tall tale that explores young people’s relationship with history and other core educational subjects by asking what is plausible and what kernel of truth is behind exaggeration and apostrophe. We tell the tale of Amelia Braveheart, loosely based on the beloved heroine Earhart. Kind of like a Paul Bunyan character, she was born to greatness but when her biplane crashes into a circus run by animals she discovers that we still all have much to learn and things aren’t always as they appear. Told with shadow puppetry, acting and body puppets, Circus Hilarious is a fun evocation of a bygone era and illuminates the journey of excitement we are welcome to embrace. Audience participation is encouraged.
Inspired by the Jataka Tales of India, this parable-adventure takes place in a forest where a “Noble” Deer runs wild and free. When a local King hears of this magical deer he sets out to have it for his very own. An unforeseen event challenges the King’s motivation and a choice must be made. This is a tale that questions possession, friendship, and compassion.

In the distant future a Robot, fresh off the assembly line, finds himself wandering through a garden, where he unexpectedly becomes fascinated by butterflies. From this inspiration he attempts to build his own set of wings. His journey of experimental flight travels beyond the unexpected.Performed on a table top.
